Colleague-to-Colleague (C2C) Mentoring
About Our Mentoring Program
Our C2C Mentoring Program is designed to create mentoring relationships among members that will enable them to experience greater feelings of professional competence and career satisfaction. In addition, other benefits include:
- Sharing information about different T&D methods and techniques
- Obtaining feedback and support with career challenges
- Reinvigorating your passion for the field
- Developing a trusted friendship
Any Chapter member in good standing is eligible to participate. There are two program options:
- Newcomer-to-Veteran - someone new to the T&D field is matched with a seasoned veteran with a lot of wisdom and experience to share
- Peer-to-Peer - two colleagues at similar careeer levels are matched up for mutual sharing of knowledge and information
Members can elect to participate in either program, or both.
It’s All About Chemistry!
We match mentoring partners on the basis of compatibility of learning goals–and chemistry! After completing the Mentoring Survey below, we’ll email you our suggestions for mentors from among our membership. You’ll get a chance to talk with each of them to best identify with whom you best “mesh.”
Time commitments are minimal for the ROI—partners are asked to meet just once a month.
